Naomi Ruth (Pulliam) Cole, age 75, of Waynesville, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Haywood Regional Medical Center. Naomi was born in Eden, NC on February 7, 1947, to the late Reverend Deemus and Gladys Dehart Pulliam. She played the keyboard, sang hymns and loved to talk with people. Everyone who visited her came away feeling better about himself or herself.
In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by her infant son, Barry Cole; brothers, Sammy and Billy Pulliam; and sisters, Rachel Pulliam Harding and Nancy “Kristen” Pulliam Martin.
Naomi is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Cole; brothers, Robert, Melvin, Richard, Rev. Dr. Deemus II, Charles, Mack and Johnny Pulliam.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 29, in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations with the Reverend Jerry Harding officiating. Burial will be at Union Hill Community Cemetery in Whittier. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
