The Robbinsville Black Knights had a blowout win over Swain County Maroon Devils at Thursday night’s dual wrestling. The score was 53 points for the Black Knights and 15 for the Maroon Devils.
Six-time NCHSAA state champion Amaya Hicks was surrounded by friends, family and teammates on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 19 to celebrate her signing to run track at Western Carolina University.

The Swain County High School Lady Devils varsity team hosted the Lady Highlanders on Tuesday night. The Lady Highlanders took the 49-33 win.
Highlands
Swain Maroon Devils kept the stands packed in the home game on Tuesday night and delivered a 65-36 win over the Highlanders.
Swain County wrestling team traveled to the Pin Down Autism Super Duals on Friday, Jan. 6 at Cedar Ridge. Several Swain wrestlers won by fall and the team took the overall win 58-21.
