Paul Crisp resident of Bryson City and later Newport TN and later of Limestone TN. died on Dec 25 at the age of 79. Paul was known to his friends and family in Bryson as Red Paul and was born in one of the small villages flooded by TVA and Alcoa for WW2 ,which now sits under Fontana Damm. Paul was known for many things from being a fast baseball runner to driving a Coke truck to running the fruit stand in Almond . But most everyone knew Red Paul for his stories and.humor. He was born April 3, 1943 and past away Christmas night Dec 25 2022.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Crisp, his son Gary Crisp, his grand daughter Courtney Freeman,his Great grand son Rylan Cole Freeman, and his 5 brothers and 1 sister , Adam, Ronald A.J, James Glenn and Glendal
He leaves behind Juanita Brown ,her husband Jeff Brown ,children Jed and Jessa Brown; Stoneburner
Steve Crisp his wife Terri Crisp with Children Brittany and Lindsey Crisp;
William Crisp and son William Crisp Jr; and grandson Jayden Lee Freeman
Janice Crisp with husband Reid Stout and Daughter Abbigail Crisp.
He had one Grandson Logan Powell from his deceased Son and daughter in law Gary and Mary Crisp.
And His last of six siblings Hubert (Junior) Crisp and his wife Loretta and their children Charles and Andrew.
